Half ring twist Landsknecht Dagger

This late Medieval and Renaissance dagger is based on an example in a private collection.  The half guard and the grip that favoured fashion as much as comfort marks this dagger out as a Landsknecht piece.

Double sided blade and bronze grip fittings with a very particular Boxwood grip. The naturally tanned leather sheath is part dyed in black and part in light blue and it is fitted with a bronze chape.
